| Looks like he's saying that GPK are poop, pus and pee cards to me, which is a dumb statement. We know that isn't the case...or at least wasn't the case. It's true now, but it wasn't back then. I bet less than 10% of the cards up to #250 involve that crap in the OS. That's how you tarnish the GPK name. You take what used to be a great set of cards, one of the most popular sets in non-sport history, and turn it into a shell of it's former self. They should have just brought back Bathroom Buddies if they just wanted to do toilet humor gags over and over again. We all know those sold through the roof. GPK will never be good overall in the ANS because almost all the artists couldn't draw a GPK if their life depended on it. They are directed by a dude with no clue and they have been neutered by a weak company for no apparent reason. Nothing will change until the people in the authority positions change. As it stands now, we just need to look forward to the 4 or 5 great GPK we get per series that happen to slip through the cracks of stupidity over there. Of course, we can hope they end it all too. :-) > No... he's just pointing out the obvious. Just because the cards have a GPK logo doesn't make them good. Topps went in the wrong direction with GPK, and I doubt they'll ever change things drastically enough to make a solid GPK All-New Series. > > Wayne > > > > "How does one tarnish poop, pus and pee trading cards?" > > > > > > Is this a troll post? |
