Wow, there's been a lot written on this subject in such a short time. I can agree with points from everyone so far. The O.S. are so much better.   There are some of the new ones (e.g. celebrity parodies) that I really like. Topps (and probably all the other major card companies) have gone hog-wild with these dang chase inserts cards [of course its about selling more product.]

I'm not sure my 'heart' was into collecting the All-New cards, I did it mainly out of habit and wanting to maintain a complete collection!! Why the Frosted Flake did Topps always renumber each of these new series from # 1??   I could see starting anew with ANS1, but then after that?!?!? If the timing distribution of these ANS weren't as spaced out as they were, it would have made collecting them even more of a challenge and all of these cards would just blur together (they do that anyways, LOL)   I mean W.T.F!!! (sorry Wayne)

My dad played an integral & supportive role in me getting the O.S. cards.   He could quiz me anytime "What is card # 230?" and I could give him an immediate answer from memory (snap fingers). I've actually gotten more into / enjoyed the ANS Wacky Packages better. Part of me wants there to be NO more GPK's. Let's take this over cooked turkey out of the oven already, please!!! I'd almost rather not have a guilt complex if I weren't to collect any other new future sets. Matt
